Introduction
When a journey is created, two native steps are made available: Trigger and Segment Queryly.
Additional steps can be added to perform various actions within a journey.
Adding a step
To add a step, simply click on the "+" available at the top right of the journey
On clicking on the "+", a panel is displayed to choose between several possible actions from the following categories:
- Channel: to send an email or SMS, or save a population
- Targeting: to select a Queryly segment
- Decision:
- to define pause times between two journey steps.
- to unite two populations
- to split a population:
- distributing the population according to a field in the segment or according to the reaction to an email message
- random division into several populations
The new step will be added without being attached to the existing journey
Link between steps
It is possible to link several steps together. To do this, simply
- click on the "+" located at the right end of a first step
- while holding the click on the arrow, reattach the first step to the left-hand end of the second step

- hover the arrow to be deleted
- click on the recycle garbage can available on the arrow to be deleted
Note:
- it is also possible to add a step linked to existing steps by clicking on the "+" located
- either at the right-hand end of an existing step placed at the end of the journey: the new step will be linked to the rest of the journey.
- or on hovering over an arrow linking several existing stages: the new stage will be placed between the two stages linked by the arrow
- The number of arrows entering a node is limited:
- two entries for the step "Union of two populations"
- a single entry for the other steps
- The number of arrows leaving a node is not limited .
Deleting a step
To delete a step, simply
- Hover over the node to be deleted: pictograms will appear on the top of the node
- Click on the recycle bin
All incoming and outgoing links to the node will also be deleted.
