Introduction
Queryly's settings allow you to manage the configurations required for database source segments.
If the Behavioral data data source is activated on your client: from the general tab of Queryly settings - Client settings section, you can activate websites that can be used to create and personalise segments.
Website activation
A list of all the websites available on the client is displayed with
- the name of the website
- the tag ID, i.e. the unique technical identifier of the website
By default, all websites are deactivated. Click on the Edit then Activate button to activate the site.
The All pages page type is configured by default and cannot be deleted. It provides access to all the behavioral data collected on the website.
You can create as many page types as you need by clicking on Edit then Add a page type and filling in the following information:
- page type display name: the name of the page type displayed on the segment construction and personalisation page
- variable: the technical variable in which the page types are stored in the database.
- value: the value associated with the variable for the page type.
This information depends on the tagging plan in place on the website.
All page types must use the same variable.
The personalisation fields associated with this site are then automatically configured (see Understanding the configuration of personalisation fields).
Website deactivation
To deactivate a website that is no longer useful, click on the Edit then Deactivate button.
Deactivating a website :
- does not affect segments already shared that use the website
- does affect segments not yet shared that use the website. The site is identified as belonging to a category not found and needs to be removed from the segment before it can be shared.
