Introduction
Queryly's settings allow you to manage the configurations required for database source segments.
In the Client settings section, you can configure custom tables to create and personalise segments if the Custom tables data source is activated on the client.
Configuration of a new custom table
The Add a table button is used to configure a new custom table.
Several steps are required:
Step 1: Select the source table, i.e. the custom table to be configured, from the list of available tables.
This list corresponds to all the tables in the database:
- excluding tables linked to the CRM Data, Computed Data, Contactability and Behavioral Data criteria
- excluding tables already configured as custom tables
It is updated automatically every week.
You can search by name.
Step 2: Select the key from the list of available keys in the table. This table can be used to build and personalise segments created with the join key equal to the custom table key. The list of join keys can be edited after the custom table has been created.
Step 3: Define the custom table display name. This is the name that will be displayed on the construction and personalisation page of your segment. This label can be edited once the custom table has been created.
Result
After validation, the newly configured custom table appears on the page that lists configured custom tables.
The custom table can now be used to build and personalise all segments created with a compatible join key.
