Introduction
From the general tab of Sendingly's settings, you can create, edit or deactivate tags.
To manage tags, you need to go through two different interfaces:
- The client level settings interface
- The group level settings interface
Actions in client level settings
Create tag
The Create a tag button is used to create a new tag.
Several parameters need to be configured:
- Tag name
- The channels to be activated for this tag (email, SMS or push)
Modify a tag
On the right of each tag line, there's a clickable icon that lets you modify the tag.
The following information can be modified:
- the tag name
- the channels to be activated for this tag (email, SMS or push)
Manage all tags
The Manage all tags button lets you apply settings to all tags.
You can :
- Enable or disable one or more channels on all tags
- Enable or disable channels for all tags (email, SMS or push)
Delete a tag
It is not possible to delete a tag, as this would create instabilities in content already created with the tag.
However, it is possible to deactivate a tag from all the channels on which it was activated (email, SMS and push notification): this means that it will no longer be displayed at the campaign preparation stage on Sendingly.
Actions in group level settings
Activate a tag
The Add a tag button is used to activate a tag on a group, which will then be automatically added to each of the group's campaigns.
To activate a tag, select the tag name.
Deactivate a tag
On the right of each configured tag line, there's a clickable icon that allows you to deactivate the group tag on the desired channel.
Conclusion
Once you've configured your tags, go to the campaign creation page to assign tags to future campaigns.
