Introduction
From the General tab in Sendingly's settings, you can create, edit, or delete consents and make them available to the desired groups.
There are five different types of consent:
- Email Consents
- SMS Consents
- Push Notifications
- Voice Consents
- Tracking Consents
To manage consents, you must use two different interfaces:
- The client settings
- The group settings interface
Actions in client settings
The methods for creating, modifying, and deleting consents are the same for all types of consents.
Create a Consent
The Create Consent button allows you to create a new consent.
Several settings need to be configured:
- Consent Name
- Groups that have access to this consent (for email, SMS, Push, and Voice)
If the consent to be added already exists in the CRM database, select it from the drop-down list.
Edit a consent
To the right of each configured consent row, there is a clickable icon that allows you to edit the consent.
You can change:
- The consent name
- Groups with access to this consent (for email, SMS, Push, and Voice)
Delete a consent
It is not possible to delete consent.
Specifics of tracking consent
When configuring tracking consent at the client level, the administrator must select a default consent setting. This consent setting will automatically apply to all of the client’s groups that have not defined a specific configuration.
Actions in group settings
The methods for enabling and disabling consents are the same for all consent types.
Enable a consent
The Add Consent button allows you to enable a consent for a group.
To enable a consent, select the consent’s name.
Note: This action does not apply to tracking consents.
Deactivate a consent
To the right of each configured consent row, there is a clickable icon that allows you to disable the group’s consent.
Note: This action does not apply to tracking consents.
Specifics of Tracking Consent
At the group level, the administrator can choose to override the client’s default configuration. This allows them to select and modify the specific tracking consent that will apply to all email campaigns in that group.
Conclusion
Once the consents are configured, go to the email campaign creation page to use this consent in your campaigns.
