The short link generation module allows you to shorten links that can be used in media campaigns.
List of short links
The configuration is defined by:
- The domain name used to shorten links;
- The campaign number tracking click performance on this link;
- The campaign usage channel;
- The validity period of a link created.
The list of existing short links specifies:
- The link creation date;
- The short link description;
- The short link coming after the configuration domain name;
- The destination URL;
- The link expiration date.
Actions allow the link to be copied or deleted.
Creating a short link
Creating a new link for the selected configuration requires the following information:
- Description : A short text describing the use of the link.
- Destination URL : Link to which recipients will be redirected.
- Short link (optional) : String of characters to be placed after the domain name to form the final short link. If this field is not filled in, it will be a string of 6 random characters.
- Link expiration date (optional): Date when the short link will no longer be functional. By default, this is the lifetime defined in the configuration.
