Context
Journey is a tool for creating multi-stage campaigns based on conditions and triggers.
To enrich sending possibilities at journey level, a new tab "Sending parameters" is now available when creating a message and can be modified at any time.
It allows you to:
Define a routing speed;
Add interruption periods;
Add VIP recipients.
Defining a sending speed
It's now possible to control the routing speed of a message by smoothing its sending over time.
This option is configured directly in the "Sending parameters" tab, by indicating the number of sends to be sent per minute.
This is particularly useful for smoothing traffic over long periods.
Add interruption periods
To respect sensitive time slots, legal constraints or simply business preferences, it is now possible to define interruption periods.
These periods will automatically pause sending during defined time slots (e.g. night, weekends...).
The execution of the journey will not be impacted by these periods.
Add VIP recipients
In some cases, it's useful for certain people to receive communications first when routing.
These VIP recipients can be added easily when creating the message.
Note: A message retains the same routing parameters (sending speed, interruption periods and VIP addresses) even when used in several nodes of a journey. These parameters are defined at message level, not at node level.
