Introduction
After enabled comments on the share link, we’ll go over the steps for adding comments.
Add Comments
By clicking on the comments icon from the share link, a sidebar listing all comments appears; the user can add new comments by clicking directly on the desired area of the content.
When the user adds a comment, they can:
- Enter their comment
- Choose whether the comment applies to both the desktop and mobile versions or to only one of them. Depending on your selection, an icon will appear in the comment to indicate its scope

Characters allowed in comments:
- Letters (a-z / A-Z), numbers 0-9
- Accented letters
- Punctuation: , . ? ; : ! ' " _
- Space and line break (\s)
- The hyphen - (but not allowed as the first character)
Characters not allowed in comments (comment confirmation will be unavailable):
- Special characters: # $ % & ( ) * + / < > = @ [ \ ] ^ ` { | } ~
- Unicode symbols < U+00C0: ¡ ¢ £ ¤ ¥ § © ª « ¬ ® ° ± ² ³ µ ¶ · ¹ º » ¼ ½ ¾ ¿ etc.
- All emojis
- Non-Latin alphabets
Other rules:
- A message cannot begin with a hyphen "-" or a space.
- An empty message (or one containing only spaces) is invalid.
Login
You must log in to add comments to the preview link. Here is an overview of the required information:
- A username is required
- You may also enter an email address to receive email notifications when users respond to your comments
