Refine your contact lists with even greater precision. Queryly now lets you filter imported contact lists directly within the platform. Build custom, tailor-made segments instantly, leaving your original source file completely untouched.
Why use filters on a list?
No more tedious Excel preparation before importing your data. Now, you can work with raw data directly within the Numberly MarTech Platform to boost your agility:
- Leverage your source file directly: Filter your data (e.g. exclude values, isolate a score) after import.
- Multi-targeting: From a single imported file, create as many segments as you need to optimize your campaigns.
- Volume control: Estimate your segment's reach (distinct emails or mobile numbers) before launching your campaign.
Usecase examples
Events & Retail
Imagine you import the guest list after a boutique opening. You can now easily split them into targeted actions :
- Segment A (The Attendees): Send a thank-you note exclusively to guests who attended (filter by "Present" status).
- Segment B (The No-Shows): Follow up with those who couldn't make it and offer a catch-up promotion (filter by "Absent" status).
Customer satisfaction
After running a satisfaction survey, import your global list of respondents to tailor your messaging:
Targeted Customer Care: Automatically split respondents into three distinct segments based on their ratings (Promoters, Passives, and Detractors) to send a message perfectly tailored to their experience.
What's new for you
Here's how this new feature fits your Queryly workflow:
- If you only use Queryly Contact Lists: Good news! You can now use the Segments tab to create bespoke segments using your lists as a single data source.
- If you use both Lists AND Segments (database): Your interface is getting an upgrade. When creating a segment, a new source selector will let you choose between two data sources: your unified database or a specific contact list.
- If you only use Segments (database): Nothing changes for you. Your current segment creation workflow remains exactly the same, and you won't see these new options unless you decide to start using Queryly contact lists.

In short: ready for activation
Once your segment has been created, it's immediately available in Sendingly via the two new targeting options (Segment Queryly Email/SMS List). This allows you to personalize your tactical and automatic campaigns with even greater precision.
List-based segmentation is natively available. If you cannot see the new targeting options in Sendingly, or if you need help in activating a join key (Email/Mobile) to build your segments in Queryly, please reach out to your Account Manager or Numberly Support to finalize your setup.
