Context
During the definition of a Journey communication cycle, certain steps require splitting the population into 2 in order to adapt communications.
The split node according to segment membership allows you to separate the population according to a combination of several criteria.
Split according to segment membership
The split node according to segment membership, separates the population into 2 branches:
In the top branch, individuals belonging to the selected segment
In the lower branch, the rest of the individuals
This node meets the need to use a combination of criteria defined on Queryly.
It also makes it possible to link several Journeys together by excluding, for example, the population entered in a Journey A from a Journey B.
For a simple separation, we prefer the split node according to a segment field.
