Context
Queryly is a workspace for creating populations of individuals to be activated in CRM or media campaigns.
The Contact Lists tab allows you to create static lists that can be updated punctually on a one-off basis or from a file.
It is now possible to create dynamic type lists, updating automatically by fetching a file from an SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) server.
The recurrence
In contrast to a static list, a dynamic list is updated automatically according to a defined frequency by fetching a source file from an SFTP server.
Deactivating the list suspends this update recurrence. The list remains accessible to use in the target of Sendingly campaigns, but it will no longer be updated automatically.
It is also possible to force an immediate update of the list. This action triggers the import of the source file outside the scheduled recurrence. For more details, please consult the dedicated article: How to manually trigger the import of a dynamic list
The creation flow
The flow for creating a dynamic list contains 4 steps
- The source: step similar to static lists via SFTP with the selection of the file directory in addition. A directory can only be used for one dynamic list. To find out more, you can consult the dedicated article: Understanding SFTP management.
- Mapping: step similar to static lists.
- Import configuration: step specific to dynamic lists allowing you to define import recurrence and contact integration mode.
- The summary: step similar to static lists with file directory information added.
Like static lists, these contact lists can be used in the target of one shot or automatic campaigns on Sendingly.
The activity tracking
The Activity tab enables you to track completed and upcoming operations on the list. As soon as a dynamic list is active, the next 5 scheduled insertions are displayed.
