Context
Sending Time Optimization (STO) is an artificial intelligence tool used in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to determine the optimal time to send messages to contacts. By analyzing historical data and customer behavior patterns, STO aims to maximize communication effectiveness by sending messages at the most opportune times for each recipient.
It will now be possible to schedule a tactical email campaign with STO. The mailing can be spread over several days. STO will choose the best day and time for each target contact.

Activating STO on a tactical email campaign
Activating STO is done when scheduling the campaign.
Sending can be staggered over one or more days, excluding public holidays and weekends if required.
The following elements will be set by the STO:
routing speed: the STO will choose the best dispatch date for each contact for each of the dispatch days entered.
interruption periods: the STO determines the sending times within a time range determined during its parameterization.
To guarantee deliverability, a safety threshold is applied.
When the volume of sends in a single campaign exceeds 150,000 messages in an hour, these are automatically spread over time at a speed of 150,000 sends per hour.
This regulation can lead to messages being sent outside the time slots defined by the STO.
An STO campaign can be monitored from Watchly. At the campaign details level, routing speed will be replaced by the term STO.
