Context
Watchly allows you to track the sending of emails, SMS and push notifications in progress.
The interface also allows you to act in an emergency to stop a sending in progress. In the same way as for email, this possibility is now available on the SMS channel for the types of sending listed below:
Tactical SMS campaigns;
Automatic SMS campaigns;
Trigger API SMS campaigns;
SMS messages sent from a journey.
Pause SMS sending
SMS messages currently being sent can now be paused.
The campaign or message sent via journey will then wait for the user's decision in order to :
Resume sending where it was paused: the remaining target receives the communication.
Finally stop sending: the remaining target does not receive the communication.
This last action ensures that the volume actually targeted is updated in Dashboardly.
Edit routing speed
SMS sending speed is set when it is programmed.
When smoothing is enabled, it can be edited from Watchly to impact the sending speed of remaining messages.
Deployment
The ability to pause is carried by the activation of a new SMS sending engine, natively enabling campaign smoothing.
The deployment of this new engine will be carried out progressively over the coming months for customers using the SMS channel.
