Introduction
Notifications allows you to centralise error messages when importing files into Contactly.
Notification system
A notification system is used to display errors as they occur.
At the moment the error occurs:
● A red dot appears on the bell-shaped notification icon
● A notification is displayed
When you click on the notification icon, a drop-down list of all notifications is displayed.
You can view the details of the error by clicking on See the list which redirects to the activity part of the list.
Notification management
Red dots are displayed next to unread notifications.
Once the user clicks See the list, the notification dot disappears.
Clicking on Mark as read at the top of the notification window will remove all notification pastilles at once.
Conclusion
Contactly's notification system highlights import errors with visual signals, but requires manual action to resolve them and mark them as read.
