Introduction
A user is an entity that can belong to multiple groups; access to group content is granted through roles.
Regardless of the groups, the user has permissions that are identical across all groups.
Create a user
On the Accessly interface, you can create a new user from the Users tab:
- Click the New User.
- Enter their first name, last name, and email address; assign them to an initial group (specifying their role within the group); and select a time zone.
- Set the interface language (French or English).
- Set a specific expiration date: On this date, the account is deleted and the user can no longer access the interfaces
- After creation, an automatic redirect to the user’s profile allows you to assign them permissions.
Conclusion
When a user is added, they can be added to one or more groups. Otherwise, they will not have access to any content. To do this, see the article How do I add a user to a group?
