Introduction
Once the creation form is completed, the "Content" step allows you to define the content to be sent to recipients.
Selecting Content
In the Content section, configure the options related to sending SMS messages:
-
The OADC (Originator Address Code): customization of the SMS sender’s name. This allows you to display the brand name as the sender, for example, instead of a 5-digit number (e.g., 3600x).
A drop-down list allows you to select an OADC from the list of all OADCs available for the group in which the campaign is created.
-
STOP message: Just like the unsubscribe page in emails, this message is required and will allow the user to stop receiving text messages.
- If sender name personalization (OADC) is enabled and messages are sent within France, the word “STOP” is required and automatically added as “STOP 36XXX”.
- If sender name customization (OADC) is enabled and mail is being sent internationally, you must select “STOP” from the list provided.
- If sender name customization (OADC) is not enabled and messages are sent within France and/or abroad, you must select the "STOP" option from the list provided.
For routing involving multiple countries, including France, it is crucial to consider both categories of “stop SMS” messages. In this case, the maximum number of SMS messages for metropolitan France and international destinations is indicated separately at the bottom of the content.
For a “Service SMS” campaign, there is no “STOP” option.
The Content field allows you to create and edit the SMS campaign message.
Content (Text): represents the content of the SMS. You can insert simple customization or dynamic customization. It is also possible to insert short URLs customized for each individual if the option is enabled for the group. The length of the URL will then depend on the domain name used for shortening, followed by a string of 6 random characters. To shorten a link, you can use the chain icon or manually insert the link between angle brackets (e.g.,
<https://monlien.com>).- Content (Code) - only for app-based SMS campaigns: to create the SMS content directly using code to address complex requirements. It is enabled and disabled using the toggle button located in the right corner of the Content field. You can include personalization here. However, you cannot include short URLs.
