Introduction
The Contact Lists tab allows you to create two types of lists:
- Static lists: These can be updated individually or in bulk from a file.
- Dynamic lists: these update automatically by retrieving the file from an SFTP server.
Once the source configuration step is complete, you must define the contact fields (email or phone number) present in the files.
Contact field
You must configure at least one contact channel for the list by selecting the field name corresponding to the email or phone number in the source file.
If the source file contains columns named “EMAIL” or “MOBILE,” they are automatically associated with the email or SMS contact channels.
You can remove or modify the field.
Phone Number
The 'MOBILE' field accepts the following number formats:
- With or without spaces (e.g.,
06 12 34 56 78) - With or without thecountry code (e.g.,
+33,0033,33). - With or without the
0initial (e.g.,612345678,+33(0)612345678) - With special characters (except '+') within the number (e.g.,
06/12/34/56/78)
For the SMS channel, you must specify the country(ies) of origin for the phone numbers. You can select the country(ies):
- from a list of countries: a single country
- from a column in the file: allows for multiple countries, provided there is a column in the file indicating the ISO country code (eg. FR, GB, ...) for each number.
For the number to be correctly standardized, the following must be true:
- the country code entered is recognized
- the phone number entered follows the format for the country/region in question
It is possible to have a list with both Mobile and Email channels configured on the same list.
