Introduction
Access to the platform is secured using two-factor authentication (2FA).
During login, in addition to the password, a second proof of identity is required, such as a code received by e-mail or generated by an authentication application (TOTP).
The 2FA method cannot be modified, as it is defined by the client configuration.
2FA via email
This method is enabled by default.
After validation of the e-mail address and password during login, an e-mail containing a validation code is sent to the address associated with the account. This code must be entered to finalize the connection.
For added convenience, this verification remains valid for one month. This means that no code will be required for subsequent logins until this validity period expires.
For your convenience, this verification remains valid for one month.
2FA via an authentication application (TOTP)
When connecting for the first time, the 2FA must be configured by scanning a QR code with a compatible authentication application (such as Google Authenticator, Authy or Microsoft Authenticator). Once configured, the application generates a temporary one-time code. This code must be entered to validate the connection.
To simplify the user experience, this verification remains valid for one month. No code will therefore be required for subsequent logins until this validity period expires.
