Introduction
The Contact lists tab offers the option of creating two types of list:
- Static lists that can be updated by manually uploading a file;
- The active lists updating automatically by fetching the file over an SFTP.
Once the creation form has been filled in, the file selection step retrieves the list initialization file from the SFTP folder.
Select file
In the File selection section you need to fill in the following:
File directory : here you need to select the SFTP folder in which the files feeding the list are deposited.
File name : this field is used to define the naming convention for files dropped into the list directory to populate the active list.
If the file name varies depending on the current date, you can add date variables from the drop-down list.
Once entered, you need to click Confirm for Contactly to detect the presence of the list initialisation file on the current date in the directory.
File parameters: configuration elements for the files feeding the list:
- Column delimiter,
- Textualizer (if present).
