Introduction
For a user created, it is possible to check the user's permissions and the groups to which they belong.
Groups and rights of a user
To find out a user's permissions:
- Click on Users
- Enter the user's name
- Click on the user's name
- The General tab will show the permissions for the user
To find out the user's membership groups and role:
- Click on Users
- Enter the user's name
- Click on the user's name
- Click on the Groups tab.
- This tab will display all the groups to which the user belongs, with the associated role
Conclusion
A user must at least have a right on a module to access it.
It is not necessary to have permissions ticked for a given module to be able to access it.
